After graduating from Rice University in 1983 with a B.S. in civil engineering, Kyle Allen Frazier attended Texas Tech University School of Law where he earned his J.D. in 1986.  For five years he was General Counsel and Vice-President of Paragon Group, Inc., a real estate management company, after which he joined his father in the practice of tax, estate planning, probate, business and real estate law.  Additionally, since 1999, he has served as a Certified Hearing Examiner for the Texas Education Agency.

Mr. Frazier has a long history of involvement with public service programs through the Houston Bar Association and Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program. He has worked with the HBA's Elder Law Committee to assist the elderly with real estate, family law, and probate matters.  In 2002, The Houston Lawyer, the magazine of the HBA, named him a Local Hero in recognition of his legal service to the community.

In addition to law-related public service, Mr. Frazier is active in programs and committees at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and he serves on the board of Holly Hall Retirement Center .   He is also involved in various activities at his alma mater, Rice University , where he was president of the Association of Rice Alumni in 2003-2004.  He served on the Alumni Board and various committees of the board from 1993 through 2005, the Friends of Fondren Library board from 1997 through 2006, and the Rice Historical Society board from 2004 through 2006.  He has served as a Community Associate at Sid Richardson College since 1987 and an alumni interviewer for the Admissions Office since 1995.  One of his main interests is supporting Rice's athletic programs.  He has served on the Owl Club board and volunteered for numerous ticket drives and fund raising activities for the Owl Club and many different teams.  He is a charter member of the RBI Club and is a lifetime member of the R Association.  Other volunteer service has included serving on the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's Calf Scramble, Barbeque and Special Children's committees, coaching and serving on the board of West University Little League, and coaching for West University Softball Association.
